Utah liquor laws require bars and nightclubs to register as "Private Clubs", therefore, this Salt Lake City bar is officially registered as such. According to this law, a "Private Club" can only allow "members" to enter as patrons, and to become a member, a weekly or yearly membership fee is required. In addition to that, each person in the attending party "is required to sign a membership card including, name, address, phone number, birth date, and e-mail addresses" before being allowed in. However, when attending this particular establishment, the author of this photograph was not required to pay fees or fill out any membership cards. |
